Need help! Should I buy? Can I transport without professionals?

Hello all, I want to know how easy this pool table would be to transport. My biggest concern is whether it's slate or not — we'd actually prefer non-slate since it's much easier to move. It's going in a frat house, so it doesn't need to be high quality, we just want a table.

Also, if it's NOT slate, could we carry the whole top through a door intact—I mean I know you are not suppose to carry a slate table on its side, but if this isn't slate could we twist it so the top fits through a door? So that way we can transport it with just the legs coming off? Or does it still need to come apart more?

I can't find any info online about this table either. What type it is, how heavy, nothing. The seller doesn't really know either, it came with their house when they purchased the house, so I think the listing description was ambiguous rather than something she actually checked.

What I do have: the underside label says 1-1-36-715 / 2007 / MADE IN CHINA. Sportcraft, ball-and-claw legs, drop pockets, roughly 95" x 53". Listing says one-piece slate but I don't think anyone actually verified that. I did find that the 2006 model in the same series was particle board.

It's in a basement with a full flight of stairs up to the driveway. Ground floor at our end, just walk through a door and it’s in the correct room. We've got 5-6 guys and can get a truck.

So mainly: can anyone tell slate vs particleboard or something else from the photos, and if it's particleboard can we get away with just pulling the legs?
